This photo is of Whit and a dear friend, Abbey. This was her last pageant at Berry High School and although we didn't win, she did GREAT! As to the title of my post, "What makes a winner", I believe that, hands down, Whit is a winner. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she has a heart of gold.
During her interview, she was asked, "What television show most represents your life?" Her response? "Gilmore Girls". For any of you who haven't watched Gilmore Girls, it is about a single mother and her daughter, their trials and triumphs. That melted my heart!! I know we don't have the traditional family, but we have all we need...we have each other and most importantly, we LOVE each other...to the moon and back! I love you Whit!!
Oh, she is a winner, not just on Saturday night at a pageant, but everyday. And as I've said before, I didn't need three judges to tell me she's beautiful, inside and out, nor should anyone else who's been in her presence!

She is beautiful. That dress reminds me of one that Court wore in high school.
ReplyDeleteI agree, love is all you need. I love the Gilmore Girls. I still watch it in reruns all the time. Now, I will think of you when it comes on!
